WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE

Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial and business analysis activities including but not limited to ad hoc analysis, improving financial planning processes, performing detailed research, owning various finance, and accounting processes, and assisting in long term department goals. Successful Financial Analyst will be detail-oriented and strategically minded, organized, and able to present relevant and insightful information in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. Enthusiasm and energy help us deliver new ideas and solutions, challenge the status quo, stress test ideas, work collaboratively, and provide suggestions and solutions.

  • Improve upon existing Financial Reporting to identify both strong and weak areas of the business.
  • Maintain and analyze existing budgets while providing insights to where improvements can be made.
  • Perform both recurring and ad hoc analysis for multiple business units, leveraging Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools such as SQL and Power BI.
  • Own recurring data integrity checks for both financial and general business reporting.
  • Monitor reporting suites for accuracy work with customers to ensure reporting evolution is meeting business unit requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to gather information regarding new reporting needs and process improvement opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Onboarding Team to gather all necessary data for potential sales branch candidates and input into pro forma model.
  • Research and resolve reporting inquiries from sales and operational staff. • Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
  • Gather, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple data sources.
  • Lead P&L reviews with senior sales staff.
  • Review offer letters for accuracy.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • 2-4 Years’ related experience or demonstrated level
  • Experience working in high data volume, dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Team oriented and ability collaborate with multiple departments efficiently
  • Advanced in Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI (or related BI Solution) preferred but not required
  • Technology driven mindset with a passion for efficiency and process improvement

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Ability to extract large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Ability to make recommendations, implement solutions
  • Attention to Detail and high level of accuracy
  • Understanding of accounting entries and impacts on Financial Statements
  • Must be customer service and business relationship driven
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks properly and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
  • Strong communication skills required, both verbally and written. Able to maintain poise in stressful situations
