We are excited to announce that On Q Financial, LLC is organizing its first-ever Food Drive!
Why a Food Drive?
Food drives play a critical role in ensuring 1 in 7 Americans have food on their shelves and have one of the greatest returns on your donation. A donation of only 1.2 pounds of food equals one meal, and a gift of only $1 is enough to feed 11 people!
Additionally, food banks rely on food drives to supplement their donations to assist as many people as possible. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of Americans have suffered reduced income or job loss, increasing the need for aid. As the holiday season approaches, more families will be seeking help. It is crucial that food banks are stocked now to fulfill that need.
On Q Financial, LLC’s Mission
On Q Financial, LLC believes the Dream of Homeownership is inclusive! We want families to feel secure in their homes, and food security is part of that. We want to ensure that no family has to choose between skipping a meal and paying their mortgage. For this reason, we believe a food drive accomplishes our mission of ensuring homeownership is accessible to all.
In addition to our employee’s donations, we encourage our community members to contribute to these donations.
How Can You Help?
We have established drop-off locations across the Phoenix metro area, Arizona, and Greenville, South Carolina. All members of the community are encouraged to participate. Here are some of the food staples that food banks hope to collect this season:
- Cooking oil
- Spices
- Cereal
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
- Boxed Mac & Cheese
- Almond Milk
- Pasta & Sauce
- Canned Soup, Beans, Chili, and Fruit
- Bottled water
Other sealed non-perishables are welcomed and appreciated! Bring your sealed non-perishables to an On Q Financial, LLC location, and an employee will show you to our food drive box near the front of our site.
Where to Drop Off Your Donation
You can drop off your donations at any of these locations on November 9th – 13th between 8 AM and 5 PM. More sites will be added as needed.
**Please note – all locations will be CLOSED on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
Arizona: Arrowhead, Raintree, Tempe, Tempe Headquarters, and Gilbert.
South Carolina: Downtown Greenville.
