One Warm Coat is a national nonprofit that promotes awareness of the need for warm coats across the country. Working with distribution partners across the United States, One Warm Coat delivers jackets, overshirts, and coats to shelters and youth organizations to be distributed locally.
We are honored to partner with this fantastic organization for our first-ever coat drive!
Why a Coat Drive?
There’s a reason why you don’t leave your home in the winter without your coat. Cold weather can be hazardous to one’s health, but for some wearing a coat is not an option. For nearly 39 million Americans living in poverty, a warm winter coat is a budget “extra.” Children and the elderly are especially susceptible to the cold as it can increase the risk of illness, such as pneumonia. The pandemic has caused a lot of hardship in recent months, and we want to ensure our fellow Americans have the necessities of shelter.
Our Mission:
As part of our Dream is Inclusive initiative, we believe the Dream of Homeownership is for everyone. We are committed to partnering with causes that align with this vision. We believe shelter is a fundamental human right, and no one should have to worry about protection from the cold this winter. On Q Financial, LLC wants to help those who need assistance so that they can focus on their dream of homeownership.
How You Can Help:
We invite all members of the On Q Financial, LLC local community to help! The point of our drive is to provide a central location at which to drop off donations. One Warm Coat accepts donations of any gently-worn coats, jackets, or outerwear.
- Donations do not need to be new but should be without stains and holes.
- Coats for all ages are accepted.
If you have warm clothing items in your closet that you no longer wear, or your kids have grown out of their clothes from last year, consider donating them to someone in need.
Participating Locations:
On Q Financial, LLC will be holding Coat Drives at two locations: Tempe, AZ, and Woodstock, GA.
Tempe Headquarters will accept new or like-new coats on December 14th and through December 18th during regular business hours (9 AM to 5 PM), and Woodstock, GA from 10 AM – 3 PM.

Results:
Between our two drop-off locations, we received close to 100 coats in total! All coats gathered in Woodstock, GA will be donated to Give Homeless Hope, and coats collected at On Q Financial, LLC HQ will be donated to Rainbow Housing Assistance. Both organizations are partnered with One Warm Coat.
