Julie Bailey is my team partner. We have worked together for 16 years. You will find that both Julie and I are very detail oriented and like to get as much documentation up front as possible so our clients will not have any surprises further down the road in the loan process.

I love helping new or existing clients see how their mortgage fits into their life long financial plan. It is important for clients to understand how liquidity and asset appreciation is affected by the mortgage plan they choose. I discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different down payment options. Quite often I refer my clients to a financial planner to help them determine how their mortgage fits into their long term wealth building plan. I also was a bond trader for 17 years before starting to originate mortgages in 1992. This background gives me a huge advantage when evaluating mortgage interest rates.

Julie and I have 42 years combined experience helping clients finance the homes of their dreams or refinance to improve their current mortgage. We encourage our clients to pick up the phone and call either of us to discuss any questions they may have. We work almost exclusively by referrals. Our goal is to provide our clients with such a Wow experience, that they refer their friends, family and co-workers to us so they can also have the same experience.

Native of Seattle. Ballard High School, graduated in 1966. BA in accounting and finance at the University of Washington in 1970. 3 years in public accounting, receiving my CPA certification. SeaFirst Bank in their internal auditing division. Bond trader 1975-1992 for SeaFirst Bank, Seattle Northwest Securities, and Interstate Securities. Began originating mortgages in 1992, and here I am. In my spare time, I like playing golf and have been a member at Sahalee CC for 40 years. My wife, Stella, and I are very active with our church, Unity of Bellevue. I also enjoy spending time with my 5 grandkids and our 70 lb yellow lab, Joy.
