WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE
Capital Markets Analyst will be responsible for the management of existing pricing and hedging strategies and the configuration of buy side pricing, locking and distribution of rates. Engage with other Capital Market and Finance team members to facilitate accurate pipeline management and reporting. Coordinate and transact loan sales and trades. Collaborate with Margin Management and Secondary Marketing to ensure pricing accuracy and assist with analytics on transactional data and/or financial data. Demonstrate creativity and critical thinking to support the organization’s growth.
- Agency (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) pooling – creation, confirmation and oversight of custodian receipts, collateral delivery, co-issue tapes, and reconciliation of trade confirms.
- Daily trade recommendations and pipeline management.
- Manage Optimal Blue configuration.
- Respond to inquiries from Retail mortgage consultants and accurately answer questions regarding product information, pricing, policy, and procedures in a timely manner.
- Some Lock Desk responsibilities
- Assist VP Capital Markets with reporting, financial analytics, margin management and ad hoc projects.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years Hedging/Trading/Secondary Marketing experience required.
- Lock Desk experience required.
- Proficiency with Optimal Blue required.
- Experience with Compass Analytics preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge of mortgage pricing, compliance, process file flow required.
- Knowledge of secondary marketing mortgage loan buy and sell side pricing and processes required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sound analytical skills required.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and follow instructions and written procedures.
- Ability to assume responsibility for tasks assigned, work independently and multi-task.
- Good team player with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both verbal and written.
